Yesterday, I followed instructions that I found on beginnertriathlete to figure out what my max heart rate is for running. The VO2max test that I had done using a spinning bike did not work for running.
Interestingly, my max heart rate came out to 183...pretty close to the 220 - age formula. However, I also aggravated my plantar fascitiis in the process. Damn! No running for a long time now. I am going to hit the stationary bikes more often.
On a different subject...this year's Wimbledon schedule is shot to shreds. Don't understand why they won't play on Sunday.
